The Department of Chemistry, IIT Delhi is one of the foremost and best in the country in terms of the expertise and facilities available for applied and fundamental research.It provides good opportunities for research at doctoral and post-doctoral levels on a variety of topics in conventional and other related interdisciplinary areas of Chemistry. As a part of it's academic activities, Department organises seminars, symposia, summer schools, winter workshops etc. It also undertakes industrial consultancy projects and has ongoing collaborative research projects in frontier areas with institutions in India and Abroad.
