The Facility houses QSTAR XL Pro System Of the Facility Package high performance quadrupole time-of-flight (QqTOF) mass spectrometer with a mass range of m/z 5-40,000, highly sophisticated mass analyzer.
A quadrupole LINAC collision cell is available in the system which follows the first mass filter and is used for efficient MS/MS fragmentation. The TOF mass analyzer is comprised of a reflectron with an effective flight path of approx. 2.5 m.

System Control and Acquisition SOFTWARE
Analyst. QS data acquisition software for MW and structural information, Product ion scanning etc. Bioanalyst software for complete integrated set of tools for peptide and protein analyses., Pro ICAT 1.0 Application software-for high throughput Protein ID and quantification from QSTAR LC/MS/MS IDA of tryptic digests.
